NOT SURE IF YOU'VE NOTICED. BUT I JUST MADE A MASSIVE UPDATE.
... Anyway, I've just finished my final exams and I've successfully moved out of my dorm room.. and I'm feeling fantastic at the moment
. I'll move into my new room in another 2 weeks I believe? Can't wait to decorate it! ヾ( °⌣°)ﾂ I checked my grades today to see if any of them have updated yet and I received a most surprising, relatively good mark for one of the toughest courses 
. I was a bit proud knowing that I've barely studied (due to major distractions spending a more-than-blissful full two weeks with my Cookiemunster ♥).. which I should probably not repeat for the latter semesters if I want to get my CGPA up again.. (✖╭╮✖)In other news, my entire week has filled out quite quickly. Tomorrow I'll have an outing with my family. The next day, I'll be spending quality time with a friend who's going on a school exchange overseas for an entire school year in just a few more days from now. On Thursday, I'm hoping to get my hair cut (I haven't arranged the appointment yet but here's hoping! and of course I'll post up pictures of my new hairstyle as soon as I can
) ~ And from Friday to Sunday, I'll not only spend time with my best friends all weekend, I'll be going to the anime convention (Anime Revolution)!!
If you know me, then you would know that I'm not that huge of an anime fan, but I do appreciate it since I grew up with it and I still enjoy watching number of certain new and old series. I'm mainly there to take pictures, if you haven't guessed yet. I'll be handling my dad's new Nikon D90, which I have barely touched before, coupled with my 105mm lens, so this is going to be rather interesting to see how the pictures will turn out. I'll test it out beforehand, of course, to see how the lens auto-focuses (since as of right now, this lens is used with my Nikon D5000, which does not allow it to auto focus, which means I have to turn the lens to manually focus on every single shot, which is annoying as hell).. =3=' As for myself, I'll be dressed up as a French maid (so black and white theme) except I'll be carrying around a giant camera and my two interests are: photo-taking, and going to see/purchase the merchandise for either me or for my friends!
This is going to be SO much fun!!!! I'll for-sure update on any decent photos I take at the convention, as well as anything else that may catch my eye (outside of the event)!
Hope that everyone in university is doing well for their final exams/papers, and for the people who work - enjoy your summer when you're off work because it's beautiful outside and we all deserve to have fun!

I'm treating this post more like a diary, to keep my thoughts sorted. I think it'll help me, personally. Of course, you don't have to read or comment. This is basically just for me to work out for myself..
I have been with my boyfriend for a little over 2 years now. I feel as though.. I had not known what it was like to really be in love before. Our relationship started out as pure friendship, and steadily grew to unrequited love (on his side). I didn't know how to deal with this kind of attention. Part of me thought it was better to just let him go so that he can pursue someone else. The other part really wanted to stay connected with him.

I've recently been super busy because.. well we've just adopted a new kitten! His name is Charlie, and he's an orange tabby with a white belly and paws. SUPER adorable. Currently, he's still kind of frightened and getting used to the new place, so I can't exactly shove a pair of lens in his face right now for a decent photo. Once he gets settled down some more, I will definitely post a photo or two of him with my phone camera (something that won't scare him as much). Back from Taiwan!
Okay, I know that I haven't uploaded anything yet from my trip. I was there for a grand total of 5 days and 6 nights. During my "vacation", I had the worst cough known to man.. even my cousin and his wife asked me if I wanted them to take me to the doctors to get examined! I also came back to Canada with what felt like the biggest hangover of my life.. it's understandable, seeing as to how I was adjusting to a completely different time zone twice within a week or so. So when I got back to Canada, I was either sleeping through the day, or vomiting in the bathroom.

So I'm back from a super long, unexpected hiatus. Sorry about that! I actually haven't touched my SLR for many months now and it's starting to get me down..

I got caught up with school, family, relationships, and just life in general got in the way. I got busy.. kept putting off photo walks I had planned, and just eventually forgot about my poor camera. I'm planning on resubmitting photos soon, and hope that everyone has had a great and productive year so far ;P
Coming up in November is my brother's wedding in Taiwan. However, I'm only staying there for a week or so, due to school, so I hope to get as many photos as I can
